So yes I haven't posted in a while but I haven't had much time to go geocaching. I'm in the middle of launching my own bow making business and it is more time consuming than I had originally expected. However there is not much time for other activities. When there is I will definitely get this started back up (hopefully with more participation from my kids). Thanks for being a loyal reader and hopefully we will be back soon.

Free Stuff to Use as Geocaching Swag

Okay so as I've said before I really don't have much money and I don't like leaving behind dumb McDonalds toys as swag. I either try to make my own or I try and buy neat items that I come across. So needless to say I was really excited when I learned about Listia. It is an online auction site that you use Listia credits to purchase items. You don't have to even buy anything. There are surveys and videos to watch to earn more credits. Plus you get 1000 just for signing up! So go on over and check it out. International Earthcache Day is October 12

Next month make a plan to go find an earthcache on October 12. Earthcaches take you to fun, interesting and beautiful places that you may have not even known about. Okay so it's no secret that I don't have a ton of money to be spending on hobbies. However I really have wanted to release a trackable in the world and see where it goes. Geocaching Muggle Cards

It is always helpful to have some information on hand just in case you get stopped on your hunt and asked what you are doing. I saw a few options on the web available but most of them you had to pay for and I felt that there should be a free option out there. So I created these so that you could print your own. These are created to be used with Avery Business Cards 5371 but you could just print on cardstock and cut them out. If you are on Chrome make sure to uncheck Fit to Page so they print properly. Print page 1 on the front and page 2 on the back and you're ready to go :)
