Taking a break
Okay so yes this site just started up but we just gave birth to our beautiful little girl on September 6th and we are going to need a bit of time to get back into the swing of things. Just as soon as we resume our geocaching adventures (with the newest little cacher in the family) then we will be back updating this site. Have a great week everyone!

Lingo
Okay so I'm going to assume that you've visited the site geocaching.com and now you're wondering, "What do all those crazy letters on the logs mean?" Well it can be a bit confusing at first but below I'm posting a small list of the ones I run into most often.
TFTC or TFT$ = Thanks for the cache
TFTH = Thanks for the hide
SL = Signed Log
TNLN = Took nothing, Left nothing
BYOP = Bring your own pen (even if a cache doesn't say this, it's always a good idea to have one on hand just in case)
CITO = Cache in, Trash out (this is the policy to pick up any litter you find in the area of the cache you are searching for)
DNF = Did Not Find
FTF = First to find
Muggle = Anyone who does not know about geocaching (yes if you are wondering it's also a term from Harry Potter :P)
Swag = small items for trade found in a cache (normally things like McDonald's happy meal toys)
TOTT = Tools of the Trade
Okay so those were a few of the acronyms I've run into but for a complete list of what the terms and acronyms mean go to http://www.geocaching.com/about/glossary.aspx.
Happy Caching Everyone!
